Varsha Rajesh

Varsha Rajesh started her formal training in Indian classical dance with Smt. Radhika Unnithan, at the age of five.

In addition to dance, Varsha is a passionate artist, devoted to creating unique and beautiful pieces of art.  She specializes in a variety of mediums, including pencil, acrylic, oil painting, and mixed media.  She has won second place in the NC Wildlife Forever State Fish Arts Contest and continues to participate in art-based contests. Most recently,  her artwork has been displayed in the Mecklenburg County Courthouse.  In addition to art, Varsha loves poetry.

She is a sophomore in high school and has done exceptionally well in her academic endeavors. 

 

Varsha is also a part of the Odyssey of the Mind organization, where she along with her team have represented NC multiple times at the World Level Finals and secured top position.  

 

Varsha has also helped raise money for charitable causes through the Nrityam dance fundraisers for the March of Dimes, and the St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
